A Difficult Change for the LACC Swap Meet Community

Dear LACC Swap Meet family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share: after almost thirty years as LA’s weekend market, the LACC Swap Meet is now exclusively on Saturdays, effective immediately.

This decision was not made lightly. We have tried everything possible to keep the market open both days, but the reality is that our community has faced extraordinary challenges—especially since the ICE raids. Attendance and vendor participation have dropped, and we have been losing money every week. We are devastated, but our only option to keep the swap meet alive was to make this change.

We know how much this market means to our vendors, shoppers, and the 17,000+ students we support through the LACC Foundation. We are grateful for your understanding and continued support as we work through this together.

A new Sunday market, the LACC Flea Market, will launch August 3rd. This is a step to help us survive, but our hearts are with everyone who has made the swap meet a home for so many years.
