📢 New Clean Up Policy for LACC Swap Meet Vendors

At LACC Swap Meet, we take pride in providing a well-organized and welcoming space for vendors and shoppers alike. However, we have noticed an increasing issue with vendors leaving behind trash, discarded merchandise, and general mess after load-out. This is not acceptable and will no longer be tolerated.

To ensure our marketplace remains clean and enjoyable for everyone, we are implementing a new Cleanliness Policy that requires all vendors to submit proof that their booth space is left clean before departing. Effective immediately, we are implementing strict measures to address the ongoing issue of trash being left behind by vendors. Leaving trash in your booth space, using our trash bins, or moving trash into another vendor’s booth will no longer be tolerated.

📷 How to Submit Your Clean Booth Photo Between 3 PM – 7 PM Only

Before leaving the event, vendors must follow these simple steps to upload photos of their cleaned booth space:

1. Login to the LACC Swap website – Visit laccswap.com and log into your account (NOTE: YOU HAVE TO BE ON YOUR SMARTPHONE TO MAKE THIS WORK).
2. Go to My Booking Tab – Once logged in, navigate to your My Booking page.
   
3. Find Today’s Market Event, Click ‘Add Photo’ Icon to Upload Photos – Click the camera/photo icon to take and upload a minimum of 1-3 photos per booth space showing your booth completely cleaned up.(NOTE: photos must be taken between 3PM and 7PM on the day of the market. )
4. Upload and Done! – Once uploaded, you’re all set!

💡 Why This Matters

Leaving behind trash and clutter is not only disrespectful to the Swap Meet community but also creates extra work for event staff and affects the overall experience for future vendors and shoppers. Keeping your space clean:

✔ Helps ensure compliance with venue regulations.
✔ Contributes to a positive experience for everyone at LACC Swap Meet.

 

⚠️🚨🚩 Failure to comply with this new rule may result in penalties or loss of future booking privileges.

 

NEW POLICY & PENALTIES

1. $250 Fine Per Incident: If you leave trash in your space, you will be fined $250 per incident.

2. Account Suspension: Vendors who leave trash behind will have their booking accounts blocked until the fine is paid.

3. Suspension for Moving Trash to Another Booth:

•First Offense: 90-day suspension.

•Repeat Offense: Permanent ban from selling at LACC Swap Meet.

ADDITIONAL CONSEQUENCES

If this behavior does not stop, we will be forced to increase booth fees to cover the rising costs of cleanup. Additionally, we have been warned by our sweeper service that if trash issues persist, they will stop providing services altogether.

This is a serious issue, and it’s up to every vendor to take responsibility. The success of the LACC Swap Meet depends on maintaining a clean and professional environment.
